The Goddess called the humans who had been experimented on by the Liege, Chimera, simply meaning they are different on a genetic level from humans, thus they are not human and can be friends of the Wolf Nation as long as they did not share knowledge of the Nation. At the time Silas discovered Chimera, they were dying out. The treatments from the Liege were defective and killing them slowly, although they lived much longer than humans. To the naked eye, Chimera looked human. Ryan and Ryder, Tyrone’s oldest sons, noticed the difference in energies and reported the anomaly. Once Silas understood the Chimera and Wolf Nation shared an enemy, he extended the hand of friendship and offered assistance. During the many raids of the Liege’s labs, Silas took serums, equipment, notes, disks, and products to research. He offered the Chimera a shot that should stabilize them and extend their lives. An agreement was made. Chimera would never attack the Nation or share its secrets and would choose someone to act as Alpha to keep them honest. In exchange, they would be given the serum and access to the Liege information to improve their quality of life.

Jasmine fell ill and was slowly dying. As the top human breeder in the Nation, the other women suffered as well. Uncertain how to save his mate, Grandfather suggested allowing the Chimera to check Jasmine on a cellular level which saved her life. More than grateful, Silas, Jasmine, and their children celebrated the Chimera and insisted they move on Pack land to be included in their family.  Thomas, Lizzie, Mia, Damali, Max, Pearl, Tip, and later Noah, Matteo, and Kitana are the current Chimera, More will be added. Everyone on the team is faster, can see further, is stronger, than humans. They constantly train to fight, hunt, and work as a well-oiled unit. Each has unique abilities and strengths.
