Thomas and his friends escaped from the Liege compound after being victims of illegal lab research for years. They were injected with a serum that changed them on a cellular level, granting them longer lives and supernatural abilities like Matteo, who talks to the Earth and moves it flawlessly. Or Tip, who is faster than Flash with eagle eyed vision, and controls insects.
Jesse and Damali are newly paired. Like really new. He’s not a full team member, and sorting out some issues. In the Liege castle, he suffered through surgeries until he escaped. The serum at the castle changed him. He can manipulate water and other fluids. Freeze, boil, or send it through the air. But not in it.
Taylor is newly paired to Tip, and isn’t a member of the team yet. She escaped the Liege castle with another group after Thomas’ team left. Taylor wields power over air, wind, and storms. She struggles to separate rocks and debris from the wind. She wants to protect herself and team members from getting hit.
Max is one of the original six members who escaped the Liege castle together. He is paired to Kitana. They met in the castle and he left the day after she died. They reunited years later. He changes from the size of a mouse to 10 feet. That larger size he can’t hold long and causes problems. He calls energy to his hand like a protective shield.
From the left corner: Lizzie, Mia, Damali, and Kitana. These four ladies were prisoners in the Liege castle and constantly experimented on. Three escaped with Thomas and the others. The day before their escape, Kitana was taken to surgery, butchered and tossed on the dead pile. Max, her pair, was devastated. They’d been a couple since their teens. Grief stricken, he left with Thomas the next day. Another group of prisoners found Kitana and rescued her from the castle. She had no memories of the castle for decades until she reunited with Max. Kitana moves through solid objects, becomes invisible, with genius level intelligence.
Lizzie is paired with Matteo, the Italian hunk. She creates alternate realities. The illusions have the correct scents and sounds.
Mia is paired with Noah, former military, and the first on the team to pair. She’s a strong empath, can search memories of others and dreamwalks with Noah.
Damali is newly paired with Jesse. Her gift is deadly. She removes air from spaces for short bursts. How long can a person live w/out air? You get my point.
Noah. Former military was given an experimental shot at the point of death on the battlefield. He was revived and flown back to the States for medical care and observation. It started with disabling headaches. Then the mist dominated his dreams. Mia appeared in his dreams and made everything clear to him. They started dreamwalking. He learned to control and weaponized the mist. Transforming from vapor to solid steel.
Pearl met La Patron on the Continent. He told her about Thomas and his team. She knew Tip, but not the others. After dispatching several of La Patron’s enemies, Pearl traveled to Thomas’ compound for help and companionship. She was losing her ability to change into other people. She flickered like a dying light bulb, needing La Patron’s serum. After the shot, she could merge fully with others, which helped her & Thomas save Jasmine’s life.
Thomas. He left the Liege Castle with the others and traveled to the States. They moved west and burrowed in until La Patron destroyed the Liege and warehoused their inventory. After refining the serum, he negotiated a deal with Thomas and the others. One person would become the Alpha. They’d handle the pack’s human issues, he’d provide the serum and protection for their team. Since many friends had faded or died, they agreed to the deal. The new serum enhanced their skills. The others made Thomas their alpha. He has each team member’s abilities, calls fire, and a master strategist ability to use them.
